Cruiser is a 4-piece tray puzzle designed by Stewart T. Coffin (STC-167). I adapted the design to include a convenient magnetic acrylic cover which keeps the pieces from spilling out.
The goal of the Cruiser puzzle is to arrange all four pieces within the larger tray (without any overlap!). Sounds relatively simple at first glance... yet some abandon the challenge after just twenty minutes, only to return with a determined resolve to conquer it!
All pieces are precisely handcrafted from African Padauk and Purpleheart, with a yellow-wood veneer on one side. Dimensions are approx. 10.0cm by 12.0cm by 2.2cm (~4in x ~4-3/4in x ~7/8in), but this will vary slightly due the trays being individually crafted to ensure there's only one solution!
